The criteria used to decide this "Best Of" list are; consumer feed back, product features, customer support and reliability. The following review won't discuss each of the classes of hair straightener available. Just high quality products were reviewed and cost wasn't taken into account.

The following reviews are based only on product quality, the feedback of actual users and features. This does not consider cost.

Are the FHI Runway models really worth it? Definitely, if you can afford it.

2) The FHI Platform Series - As a leader in the development of ceramic plating and tourmaline integration, The Platform series offers a first-class straightener at a much more affordable price. Available to buy in various sizes, the Platform series offers PTFC ceramic heat plates, 450F max heat, ultra flash heat times and adjustable temperature. While this series is more affordable than the Runway models, it's important to note that they are still on the pricey side at about $150 - $200.

3) CHI Pink Series - The stylish pink hair straightener offers the best dependability and performance of any flat iron in the Farouk CHI line of products. Temperature control, ceramic plates, and flash heat times combined with an ergonomical and comfortable handle make the CHI flat iron a perfect choice for anybody who wants to get the most from their hair.

4) T3 Wet-or-Dry - This straightener actually ranked above the CHI Pink series as far as product features are concerned, but it was knocked to fourth place because consumers have struggled with returns on the warranty. Other than that, the T3 Wet-or-Dry offers consumers a well-made ceramic design.

5) CHI Turbo Series - The Turbo series takes fifth place in our review of flat irons. This flat iron line is used by more hair professionals than any of the other models. And even though its maximum temperature and flash heating don't match the CHI Pink, this is a wonderful choice for anyone who wants premium reliability and performance.
